SUMMARY:Trekking sulla scogliera di Sos Pupos a Bosa
DESCRIPTION:\nLa scogliera di Sos Pupos si trova nel territorio del comune di Bosa, nella costa nord-ovest della Sardegna, nella regione storica della Planargia.\nQuesta falesia dalle forme caratteristiche, alta quasi 80 m. s.l.m., è costituita da rocce vulcaniche chiamate piroclastiti, ovvero dei prodotti di eruzioni vulcaniche antiche, costituite da ceneri e resti di altre rocce.\nLa formazione delle rocce risale al periodo Miocene inferiore (Burdigaliano) e, col tempo, sono state sottoposte agli agenti atmosferici che le hanno scolpite ed erose.\nDa qui nasce il toponimo “Sos Pupos”, che significa i Bambini. Infatti le diverse forme delle rocce ai piedi della falesia ricordano le figure di tanti bambini in piedi.  Il percorso di trekking è di circa 7km ad anello, sosta pranzo Cala Rapina.
